Vivonex RTF is a complete elemental formula for oral consumption or tube feeding. Vivonex RTF Ready-to-Feed is a 100% free amino acids diet for total enteral nutrition to treat patients with severely compromised GI. Useful in stressed, catabolic patients, Vivonex RTF may be used post-operatively as an enteral alternative to TPN and may also benefit patients with gastrointestinal impairment. Vivonex RTF is appropriate for lactose-free, gluten-free, low-residue and kosher diets. Not for individuals with galactosemia.

I use Vivonex RTF (along with other medical foods) because I have a rare autoimmune gastrointestinal condition called sclerosing mesenteritis. I like Vivonex because I can take it with me whenever I am away from home -- no need to mix anything. Some people don't care for the taste, but it's perfectly fine with me. I appreciate that MVS Discount Sales carries this product.
